By using PatentKit, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. AI-Generated Content May Be Inaccurate

   PatentKit uses artificial intelligence and automated systems to generate outputs. Those outputs may contain errors, omissions, ambiguities, misleading statements, incomplete analysis, outdated information, or improper assumptions.

2. No Guarantee of Accuracy, Completeness, or Fitness for Purpose

   PatentKit does not guarantee that any output is accurate, complete, current, reliable, non-infringing, fit for any particular purpose, or suitable for filing, legal review, business use, or strategic decision-making.

3. Experimental or Evolving Technology

   PatentKit may include beta, experimental, or rapidly evolving features. Features may change over time, and outputs may vary even when similar inputs are provided.

4. Human Review Is Required

   You are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, editing, and independently verifying all generated outputs before relying on them or using them in any legal, business, technical, or filing context.

5. No Confidentiality or Privilege Guarantee

   Information submitted to PatentKit is not protected by attorney-client privilege and may not receive the same legal confidentiality protections that would apply when communicating with a licensed attorney or law firm.

6. Do Not Submit Highly Sensitive Information Unless You Accept the Risk

   You should not submit trade secrets, highly confidential inventions, proprietary business data, export-controlled information, or other sensitive material unless you understand and accept the risks associated with electronic transmission, storage, and AI processing.

7. Third-Party Providers and Systems

   PatentKit may rely on third-party cloud services, models, APIs, search providers, storage providers, and infrastructure partners. PatentKit is not responsible for the acts, omissions, availability, or limitations of those third-party systems.

8. Data Processing and Product Improvement

   By using PatentKit, you acknowledge that your inputs and outputs may be processed, stored, logged, analyzed, and used in accordance with the applicable privacy policy, security practices, and product improvement processes.

9. Output Ownership and Platform Rights

   To the extent permitted by applicable law and subject to PatentKit's Terms of Service, you retain responsibility for the materials you submit, and any rights regarding generated outputs will be governed by the platform's Terms of Service, intellectual property policy, and any applicable subscription or enterprise agreement.

10. Filing, Disclosure, and Public Use Risks Remain Yours

    You are solely responsible for determining whether use of PatentKit, disclosure of invention details, publication timing, or any other act may affect confidentiality, patent rights, trade secret protection, foreign filing rights, or any other legal position.

11. Compliance With Law

    You agree not to use PatentKit in violation of any applicable law, regulation, contractual restriction, confidentiality obligation, export control rule, or intellectual property requirement.

12. Use at Your Own Risk

    Your use of PatentKit, including submission of data and reliance on any output, is entirely at your own risk.
